Nichole here! I know, I have been holding out on you guys for far too long with this post... It was too dang hard to narrow this one down to something shareable. Seth and Katie are some dear friends of ours, and I had an incredible opportunity to not only ATTEND the wedding in Ireland, but to actually tell the story of their day! Whaaaa? Any of you who follow me on Instagram are familiar with my unapologetic posts of the beautiful things I saw abroad. I will be sharing a lot more about my trip when things wind down a little, believe it or not- I JUST got all of my personal photos finished up this week! #backburner #clientsfirst
Back to S+K--- it is so hard to describe the simply perfect experience of the day, so I will leave it up to the photos to do the bulk of the work. The Cliffs of Moher in Doolin is one of the largest tourist attractions in Ireland, which- at the time, was incredibly frustrating. Elbows OUT!! Looking back at the photos, I really love all the tourists in some of the photos, since it gives you a sense of place- but also lets you see how much it didn't matter they were there. I also love the challenge of making it look like we were alone when there were 100s of people around us. I was so happy for cloudy skies, there was nothing that could break my mood!
After the ceremony, we headed to the "most Irish pub ever" where we enjoyed plenty of Jameson and Guinness and ate the most delicious seafood chowder I've ever had. The tables were decorated with white linens and wildflowers, which really just brightened up and accentuated the quirky dining room. Since there was such a small number of guests invited, it was such an intimate and fun party- traditional dancing music played by two Irish teenagers!
The entire day was simple and absolutely perfect. I am so happy for my sweet friends!
