Early in the morning I recieved a concerned text message from a worry-some bride. "I am afraid that we won't get good pictures because of the weather today!" I replied with a settling comment about how some of our favorite photos are from rainy days. Unlike an engagement or family shoot, we just cannot reschedule this one-- so lets make the best of it! Good thing that we had these super cute pink boots (that matched the wedding colors perfectly) and thanks to Walmart and Target for the last minute matching umbrellas. We frantically drove around town before the wedding looking for the perfect umbrellas! Anyway, as anticipated the rainy puddles made for some SUPER FUN photo ops. After the reception, Chelsey decided that getting great pictures was more important than the dress that she will never wear again-- but Jay was a little concerned about getting the rental tux dirty. But then.... OOPS!!! Jay ate it pretty good almost falling into the pond at the nursery! So, since he was already covered in mud we went all out after that. How often will we get to make our couples jump in puddles and run into wet weed fields? Well, thanks Chelsey & Jay for being the troopers that you were. And hope you enjoy the photos.
