Gatsby inspired wedding shoot // Part 2- The reception

Alright, so what did you think about the first part of this bad boy? We hope you love it as much as we loved creating it! Hope your ready for a glitzy, glamoury after party! We'll change up a few things here-- first things first is the dress. Can you believe Nichole found this STUNNER at a garage sale!? Perfect right? She is the queen of looking for something arbitrary that doesn't exist and then finding just the perfect thing at a garage sale! [Ask her about the holiday duck sometime.] Hey what else is new here? How bout a BAD-A cake from Margaux at Le Bisou Sweets. She does all kinds of delicious and pretty wedding desserts including french macaroons and cake pops! Will's bouquet from Flowers at Will doubles as a flipping amazing center piece on this head table. Tables, chairs, linens and some of the vases and candlesticks are from Event Rent. A super rad chair treatment on the black chiavaris was done with extra black table runners for a touch of texture and floor-length-drapy-drama. If you want to do this for your wedding, just be sure to account for plenty of time for your set up crew-- becuase it's quite a task, but so worth it! The letterpress Stationery by Dear Ampersand, and styling by yours truly-- Many of our other table settings were found at TJ Maxx. And, what made this whole shoot???-- THE CRYSTAL BALLROOM in the Hoff building. Looking for a classy, historical, art deco venue for your wedding with chandeliers hanging every 10 feet? This is your place. We love the moulding detail, wall sconces, chandeliers, and especially that elevator! Everything couldn't have come together more perfectly. Thank you so much to the whole team that made this come together so well. We love you all! -F.N.L.
