Hi Blog world! I've been SO excited to share this one with you. Seriously, Kara? You are so freaking stunning and I could have kept shooting you in this black and blush Vera Wang gown for days! Ben lookin' pretty dapper too, and a gorgeous wedding designed by the couple and Andrea with Major Events. Every detail was romantic, formal, and perfect for a late September wedding. I love the unique color palette with deep purples and blacks, gorgeous greenery, and the most amazing mixtures of wood and glass textures lit up every corner of the Boise Depot. Just wait til you see the dance floor that Ben designed with dozens of Edison bulbs hanging over the guests for a magically whimsical forest overhead. The major events team did an amazing job executing the vision and designing the rest of the wedding to tie in perfectly. I love how they set up the ceremony overlooking the city and the shining chandelier hanging from the arch and the end-to-end family style tables dripping in candles, florals and china. The food was even beautiful and different since they served a southern brunch style chicken and waffles for dinner and a gorgeous breakfast desert display complete with donuts galore! Aside from the many aesthetic parts of this wedding, the most beautiful thing about the day is the absolutely amazing sense of love that they have for each other and for their families. Kara's mother led a stunning traditional Hawaiian ceremony where the whole family gathered to offer a welcome chant to Ben and his family. It ended with them offering leis to him and his parents. Then Kara even surprised Ben with a gorgeous Polynesian dance, just for him. It was truly an amazing thing to witness in person, I hope you enjoy the photos. Thanks K+B, Love you guys! Congrats!!
