Yes, finally blogging this super cute engagement session! Sarah & William are getting married next June and are having a circus themed wedding! (I CAN”T WAIT!!!) I know it’s going to be awesome too because Sarah is a designer and a darn good one- so I know her taste will produce one ‘Greatest Show on Earth’ wedding! So, though the fair is a little different than a circus- we felt it was an appropriate venue for them, and it just so happened to be right around the corner from when they booked with us. It was so much fun- and with all of the colorful and visual things at the fair, I couldn’t have asked for a cooler/more vibrant location! And, the wardrobe was perfect too. We had a lot of fun trying to make the Western Idaho Fair look as nostalgic as possible and still making sure that the main focus was on the couple and their interaction with each other– everything really blended nicely. AND, we got to experiment with some fun long exposures while we were at it, even though we got some strange looks from passers-by (but who cares- there’s much stranger things happening than a couple standing statuesque in the middle of thousands of people for 10 seconds at a time!)

We thought it would be cute to try to get some photos of Sarah and Will on the ferris wheel- so unknowingly, they boarded and …. 45 MINUTES LATER!!!– they finally let them off! Haha, we really only need a couple shots, and to be honest they really didn’t even turn out great! But, still it was hilarious every time they would circle around and wave at me. I swear they went around ONE HUNDRED TIMES. No worries though- had time to check my emails and grab some kettle korn! Unfortunately by the time they got off the Ferris Wheel it was pitch dark- so we got a few more night shots. All in all, it was a great time and I love the way they turned out. Enjoy, and check back next summer for more Sarah and Will LOVE.
