Such a beautiful wedding featured on the blog today at the Idaho Botanical Garden. Mallory and Bradley’s wedding was an intimate garden party on a Sunday afternoon. Everything was so colorful and fresh, from the Paperie + Pen custom invitations, DIY arranged bouquets, patterned boys’ ties, the beautiful (and delicious, I’m sure) food from 3 Girls Catering, and the softly-iced Amaru Confections cake adorned with fresh blooms.

With a guest list of twenty-something, these two really celebrated their marriage with their nearest and dearest. And the small bridal party was made up of their siblings, nieces & nephews, as well as their two children: Ryan & Bailey. The ceremony was so sweet and their emotional vows left not a dry eye and dried wildflower blooms were thrown by the guests ad they exited.

The reception table was set up “feast-style” with perfectly placed settings and colorful flower box centerpieces. Each setting had a floral patterned cloth napkin and menu (matching the invitations) for each guest. Everything was well-thought out and beautiful. The crafty-bride also hand-stamped a belt as a gift for the groom and twisted a temporary wedding band to hold the place of his ring-tattoo soon to follow.

Although everything was perfect- the weather had other the middle of the tasty, catered dinner, we had what could only be as close to a hurricane in Boise, sweep through! Huge raindrops and wind and dust lead to the guests grabbing all they could and heading indoors. But everyone laughed it off and didn’t let it keep them from having a great time- and Mallory and Brad were HUGE sports and got soaked for some rainy photos (look closely and you can see the big droplets)!
